Hi, Im Fi, first and only daughter in my family.

Both my brother and father are competent  and dare I say it say amazing guitarists, me I never had the patience or the ear for it. Although I probably do know my dads set list of by heart and could sing you every lyric in time. LOL.

So what do I bring to GrabAGuitar I can almost hear you cry, well apart from the pretty face, amazing wit, cracking sense of humour and modesty, I bought GrabAGuitar.co.uk to the web, my father has the technological knowledge of a slightly retarded slug when it comes to all things Internet and computer based he is rendered into a state of fear. I on the other hand am not so much.

Gods teeth the idea of using a computer is startling enough to me but she ruddy well excpcts me to type?! With these golden finger nails of joy, I dont think so!

Right I guess you would like to know that I have been strumming away now since I was thirteen and soon as I could get my grubby little mitts on a guitar without getting a wallop. Now at this grand old age I have taught and played guitar all my life.

Im very lucky to have worked with some amazing musicians in some amazing settings, and my real passion is to pass on this knowledge and experience to the next wave of you up and coming guitarists.

When the daughter suggested I went on the web I thought she had something spider related in mind, at which point I got my thumping stick out to put the wench back in her place, Sir Henry Styley, but then she explained and said a website -I thought, hells bells I could be a teaching legend with me cat on me lap and a pipe in my mouth  – so here it is, our website, isnt it time to rise and shine the suns boiling your eyes out, get your guitar and play a little.
